(More customer reviews)This level has it's upsides. It stays as true as they come over any significant distance and the rare earth magnets are great. My two issues with it are: 1)There is no casing over the center vial which basically makes the one side useless as a straight edge and 2)The butt ends are almost an eighth offset from the level which is of no help for marking around corners and the like. I've used many Empire products over the years which were great. This level unfortunately is not one of them.
