(More customer reviews)I bought one of these. I was charged $7.48 for shipping. For something that weighs about 4 oz. that's excessive. Worse, the gage was useless as fabricated. The angle portion of the gage (the very large angle gage, not the V-shaped notch) had a small bur at the base of the short side. This makes it useless for checking the angle of the tool you are grinding to make your Acme threads. Also, one of the labels on the notches across the top and bottom edge was mis-stamped.
I returned it to MSC, and got a refund. At least they paid for the return shipping, but I had to spend my time, gasoline, and patience, and provide my own packaging, in order to return it. After about 3 weeks, my credit card was finally credited with the refund.
Still needing a good Acme thread gage, I bought another one thru Amazon. It has exactly the same errors.
Starrett seems to be resting on their laurels instead of committing themselves to quality and customer satisfaction.

This gauge is a standard for grinding and setting tools when cutting acme threads. Acme threads have the same depth as square threads but the sides of the threads are at an inclination of 14-1/2 degree (29 degree included angle). This form of thread is used extensively and has in many instances replaced the square thread in machine construction. The advantages of the acme thread are its strength and the ease by which it can be cut compared with square threads. The angles and edges of this gauge are hardened, ground and carefully tested.
