(More customer reviews)If you want something to throw around the shop then you may want a heavier metal body but this one is perfect for what I need. The mount on the back allows me to use it free or bolt it to different applications. I mount it on my wheel truing stand to measure the lateral rim displacement and I also built a spoke tension gauge around it where the 0.01 mm range allows me to use a low spring tension. The measurements are very reproducible and the auto on/off feature makes it convenient for one-handed use.
