(More customer reviews)The instructions included are for the metric or .001" model. This model only provides resolution up to .01". However, it also provides the fractional gradients up to 1/64" accuracy. Plus, being Starrett, you know that you can trust the measurement.
I bought this for woodworking, and I can't imagine needing anything more, and the fractional measurements are very useful to me.
If you need finer resolution, go for one of the other models.
