(More customer reviews)Since I first bought this series of tapes I have been nothing but satisfied. When most tapes get wet ant get dirty they start to stick and not recoil, but these tapes don't have any trouble. They also go out further than most other tapes which greatly helps when you're trying take measurements up in the air.

With heavy-duty Mylar "blanket-wrap" coating, the Stanley 16-Foot MaxSteel Tape Rule lasts up to 10 times longer than standard models. This tape rule comes with a cushion grip built into the case for a non-slip grip and impact resistance. A top forward blade lock design makes it easier to lock and unlock the blade while a heavy, heat-treated spring provides long life and smooth blade recoil. The tape blade measures 16-feet-by-3/4-inch. It comes with Stanley's limited lifetime warranty.
