It's true and accurate. It's cut clean enough that you can scrape your chopping block with it (I did when I couldn't find my wood scrapper) but yet there's no bur when you need to pull a pencil along it. Nice heavy gauge too.. not too heavy but thick enough to stay true and lay flat. It's certainly nothing like the thin metal 12" rulers you find at retail stores.
Well made product.. what more could you want.
