The Plumb-It Extendible Level is an innovative device designed for the building industry. Its primary function is to save time and assure unparallel precision in determining "Plumb" and "Level" when placing or erecting structural members. Built-in one-inch offsets allow point to point or top to bottom plate reading instantly without add-ons. Crowned or bowed structural members can be sent end to end, then straightened if necessary. Built-in straight edge on flush side allow accurate readings for straightness and can be used as a gauge to shim against. Interlocking triple anodized I-beam design prevents damage from bending. Precision milled vials made of clear, highly polished acrylic are accurate to .057 degrees or 1/1000 of measured length. Vials are fixed, but replaceable. Extends from compressed length of 76 in. to 17ft., and anywhere in between. Remains rigid when extended due to patented grip release mechanism. One year warranty on level; 5 year warranty on vial durability. Weight (with/without carton): 15 lbs/13 lbs.
