(More customer reviews)This Luskin folding rule is the absolute best for doing carpentry work. After years of using a traditional metal tape measure I've gone back home to the wooden folding rule.
My grandfather who was a master carpenter used these exclusively. They are great because they lay flat on surfaces and don't jump around like traditional tape measures. The extending end gives you easy perfect measures on inside sections easily. I would suggest paying a few bucks more and get this one because that metal extender is a life saver.
The construction is sturdy and made to last a lifetime. The markings are clear and easy to read.
