(More customer reviews)I use this often for finish carpentry. Far better measuring device than a tape measure for some applications. The plastic ruler is of better quality than similar wood versions from home depot. The slide on the end has enough friction to maintain position while transferring measurements.

Accurate for both inside and outside measurements, a folding wooden rule has always been a staple in finish carpenters toolbox. Unfortunately this tool is often expensive, fragile, wears quickly and water stains easily. This new fiberglass folding rule has all the advantages of a wooden folding rule, but none of the disadvantages. Made in Switzerland these rules feature engraved graduations in 1/16" increments, graduated slide for inside measurements, and snap locks which secure each section in the closed and extended positions.
