(More customer reviews)Wrong number on tape. My Lufkin HV1035CME ruler shows the wrong number on the metric side at the 88 cm mark it shows 83. This did cost me when I had to measure screens for my windows. I only discovered it when I went to pick up my order and was surprised that they did not fit the windows. At first I thought i did some thing wrong. But then when I rechecked with the ruler at the window it showed me 83cm. When i rechecked the screens it also showed me 83cm. but still the screen were 5 cm short. That is when i discovered that the 88cm position on the tape also carried a 83 number mark instead of 88.
What can I do here? The product itself is sturdy and feels nice.
This was quiete a costly quality surprise for me.
