It includes everything you need to do the job. you say what job any job that you would need a laser for. it is great for concrete forming and landscaping. it even works great for laying out framing for those jobs that have different height walls and varied ceiling highs. On it's first use which just happened to be today the spring loaded foot gave way, my laser hit the floor and 2 of the cheap glue joints on the pole came apart. This is truly a cheap piece of junk that will not stay in my tool inventory.

(More customer reviews)Took the unit out of the box, checked that it had the supplied batteries installed, removed the shipping strip between the contacts on the battery tray and reassembled. Hit the power button and it did not turn on. Tried a fresh set of batteries and it still didn't turn on. Tried cleaning and adjusting the contacts and it still wouldn't turn on. Not to mention one leg of the tripod was slightly bent and dinged from shipping. I had a feeling this package price was too good to be true. I needed this unit in a hurry for layout on a job. Now I have to decide whether to buy a replacement locally at a premium price or wait for a replacement from Amazon. What a frustrating mess.

(More customer reviews)I have used this level for laying out decks and small foundations. It is very handy, particularly if you are working alone. The audible alert feature is perfect for working around corners or in the twilight when you can't see the water level at the other end of the tubing.
Many of the people that I have worked with have never seen or used a water level. They are amazed at the simplicity and accuracy of the unit. I wish that I got a commission on sales of these things.
