(More customer reviews)This yardstick is a great buy. It's flexible aluminum, which allows you to measure over slightly curved areas. Also, because it is constructed out of aluminum you don't have to worry about warping (like wooden yardsticks) or rusting/oxidizing (like steel yardsticks).
Another nice feature is that it has no metric on it. Since metric has little use here in America, centimeters just tend to get in the way, and you always have to make sure you're using the right side on US/metric combo yardsticks - but this one doesn't have that problem.
It is graduated in 1/8 inch on one side and 1/16 inch on the other - very handy.
The one thing they could do to improve would be to actually have the numbers and graduation marks impressed into the metal rather than just painted-on. While the paint may be durable, it's always a nice feature to have the markings set deeper than the surface.
