(More customer reviews)I was excited about this product; I usually work alone, the price is right and the advertised accuracy very good. The caveat, however is in the details.
In using this product, one MUST work very SLOWLY (no, I mean REALLY SLOW) if one hopes to obtain anything close to the advertised accuracy. Several repetitions are required for each point, just to give one confidence in the accuracy of the point. This can take a LONG time.
Obviously, if you work in unheated environments during the winter, WATER in the tube may be a problem. RV antifreeze was suggested as a solution, but has not been "approved" by the manufacturer. When the sensor needs cleaning, you'll know it by the unreliable (non-repetitive) readings obtained. Then draining/cleaning must occur...
Also, the hose will CRACK if left clamped for a time, allowing no siphon action in trying to refill. Small valves here may be a better solution, though more $.
IF you have LOTS of time available, and some degree of patience, buy this. Otherwise, investigate other solutions.
