(More customer reviews)Don't like giving negative reviews but Leica deserves a good thrashing. The D8 performs very well as a distance measurer, as does the D5, which sells for hundreds less. However, I bought the D8 mainly for the bluetooth input feature which, as it turns out, doesn't work on 64 bit Windows 7 machines.
Or so I think, as the company (at least in my case and in the three weeks since I bought it) has given no response. If you are buying this to use with Win7 64 bit, I suggest you ensure that Leica has gotten its act together.
