(More customer reviews)I don't know anything about tape measures, but I couldn't find my old Stanley measure so I looked on Amazon to find a new one. The Komelon brand seemed to be a popular one, even though I'd never heard of it. I looked on the manufacturer's Web site and found one I liked, so I ordered it from Amazon. It's so different from my old measure! It's really hefty, and it feels like I could drop it out of a moving car on the highway and it would be fine in the end. The tape itself is very thick and sturdy. I like the idea of the magnet on the end, though I'm not sure how many times that will come in handy. Bottom line, this company really knows what they're doing.
