(More customer reviews)I bought this to measure my sails and rigging on my boat. The tape is strong yet flexible, but doesn't stretch. The numbers and marks are easy to read. The best part about this is how quickly I could wind the tape up back into the reel without it getting caught or mangled. The handle makes it easy to hold while winding up the tape, unlike my old one where I kept banging my knuckles on my left hand with the crank. The crank handle also folds and snaps back into the reel and out of the way while measuring. Really nice product, especially considering the really fair price.

Open Reel Fiberglass Tape Measure by Rolson features 100' (30M) of ?" ripstop unstretchable fiberlass tape. Tape has double-sided markings with Standard SAE marks on one side in 1/8" increments, and Metric markings on the other in 1 MM increments. Perfect for extreme environments, as fiberglass tape is washable and won't rust, and stays accurate even under extreme temperatures. The increased number of fiberglass strands means less stretch and better accuracy compared to other cloth or fiberglass measure tape.
