(More customer reviews)Although Starrett products are very expensive, other companies just can't compete. I purchased cheaper calipers but they didn't meet the quality I needed so I broke down and purchased these. I'm glad I did. Although calipers are rather a simply items there's a big difference between these and the other ones I had. I can keep these for a long time and soon the cost will be forgotten but I'll still have a quality tool around the shop.
