There are magnets on all four edges that make it easy to attach the base or the blade to a steel tool base, then along the drill bit or saw blade or router bit or whatever. The nicest feature for me is that it doesn't have to stand upright - it's a protractor after all. Also, the readout display is large enough I don't need to hunt for the right glasses to read it, and it's dead on when I've checked it against known angles in the machine shop.
