(More customer reviews)I have this caliper -- received it from another seller a couple years ago, without any packaging. I used it to measure beads and jewelry findings. The slide is very tight, requiring a lot of fussing to get an accurate reading. Worse yet, I found the exact same product today at my local hardware store with a large warning on it that it contained lead, and that you should wash your hands every time you use it, and be careful not to touch your face or mouth during use. I'll be buying a new one -- made in the USA -- to replace it ASAP.
