I was quite surprised at how bad the system was designed with small rooms receiving high CFM's and large rooms with very little. This tool does a nice job in calculating the CFM based on the measured duct opening. It reads the airspeed then uses the duct dimensions to display CFM. As a bonus the thing does IR temperature readings as well but my primary application was CFM measurement and this it does well. Easy to use with big bright display that is backlighted at the touch of a button. Great tool at a decent price compared to others on the market. It came with a very nice case that also holds the instruction book.
