It does this with two unique features:
1. The red pointers on the tape make an accurate reading possible from a wide range of viewing angles.
2. The fold out tab on the opposite side extends the body and gives you a nice square surface. The rounded shape of all other tapes makes adjusting for the size of the body impossible to do accurately.

The Johnson Level 16-Inch Big Johnson Power Tape features a heavy-duty, high-impact plastic comfort grip case that is virtually unbreakable. Features include a spring-action lock and rewind, an EZ-read blade, and a moveable end hook for accurate inside and outside measurements--even on the first 1-1/2 inches of the blade (usually hidden by rivets). Dual cursors align with blade increments to help pinpoint an exact measurement. For added convenience, a quick-draw holder with belt clip is also included.
