This is a nice little tape measure, ergonomically designed and apparently well-made. It's a feet/inch scale only tape, with 16" OC markings in red rectangles. The top scale shows ft & in while the bottom is continuous inches (so you'll see 6F 5 written over 77). There is no printing on the back of the tape. The nylon coating seems a little thin, but most of my tapes are still uncoated. My favorite tape was a Kobalt from Lowes - double sided scale, wide blade with huge numbers and a silky smooth coating. Unfortunately, the case on that tape wasn't as good as the blade, plus the spring snapped.
The best thing about the Komelon tapes is the self-locking feature. It's tough to use another brand when you get used to this. The retract spring is a beast, though. This model has a rubberized coating that feels good in the hands. Overall, I like this tape a lot.
